The blade is made of Japanese VG10 Damascus steel, with 75 layers of steel carved with natural patterns. Steel blocks of different hardness are hand-hammered and folded and twisted together. After vacuum heat treatment, the hardness reaches 59-60HRC. It is tough, wear-resistant, and highly corrosion-resistant.
