The quality of heat treatment directly determines the inherent performance of a knife; because martensitic stainless steel can only exert its material properties after heat treatment. Therefore, heat treatment has always been the core process of knife making. The knives we use for vacuum heat treatment have higher hardness, better sharpness, and better long-lasting toughness than those heat treated in ordinary nitriding furnaces.
The real Damascus steel is made through 67 layers of repeated folding and forging. After processing, it produces charming patterns with delicate and natural textures, contrasting light and dark, and unpredictable changes that are fascinating.
