What is CobalMax powder steel?
CobalMax is a powder steel, a new type of high-performance stainless steel developed by our company and the Steel Research Institute. It is manufactured using powder metallurgy technology, with a cobalt content of up to 1.5% and a molybdenum content of 1.0%. It is comparable to CPM-s35vn in performance, and far exceeds the performance of Vgmax. It is a high-strength steel with corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high hardness (up to 60HRC). This kind of steel is not available on the market yet, and we are the first to launch it.
